It only took 10 minutes for the 6th team to forget the poor shooting from last week. Dylan Nyman picked the ball up on the halfway line and drove at the Whitgiftian defenders. He got to the corner flag and put in a beautiful cross for Chris Smith to smartly head back across the Keeper and into the far corner. Unfortunately this sparked the away team into a come back and within 15 minutes they scored from a penalty for a clumsy hand ball by Alan Parker. There were chances for both teams in the remaining part of the half but thankfully ODs got the important second goal. Another good cross was put into the box and ODs kept it alive with a bit of head tennis before eventually falling to the feet of James Armstrong who buried it from 6 yards out.

ODs started to dominate in the second half but had to wait 15 mins before getting the comfort margin of the third goal. Josh Bremer continued his excellent early season form with another cross into the box. Man of the Match Darren Bond was left unmarked in the middle of the box and gave the keeper no chance with his header. There was lots of entertaining football played throughout the rest of the second half but ODs failed to create many clear cut chances. Another good performance by the 6th team but this time they got the result they deserved.
