Looks like the weather will play ball this weekend. Our matches will be slipped in between showering Friday and tipping it down on Sunday. Below are our fixtures for the weekend. The 1st XI are at home, aiming to carry on their great form, in the league to Old Minchendenians ko 14:00. The 3rd XI are away in the Cup to Woodmansterne Hyde 1s. Good luck to them. The Big Clash is 7s versus 8s! At Pixham ko 14:00. Let's get out and support the teams.

A few other questions the weekend will answer. Can the U12 Titans make it four wins on the bounce? Which would be an amazing effort for the Clive and his team. He’ll kick me if I’ve jinxed them! The U13 Rockets have a cracking derby with Dorking Cobras. Also, Hamish and his U11 will have to report if their opposition are as quick as lightening or fall over more than Neymar, as they host the Cheetahs. I might be getting my nouns mixed up there.

The hustle and bustle returns to St. Martins as our Mini teams play and train. A mention to one of our U12 parents, Jon Walbancke, who has provided a large number of mini footballs for the Mini teams to use. Thank you Jon.

The biggest question has been answered, Dodge has found enough fifty pence pieces to get the electric on at the clubhouse. Please get along and support the teams. The Bar at Pixham will be open from noon until nine o'clock, with pizzas available from five o'clock. The bar will be closed Sunday.

A heads up, the Westhumble kitchen and toilets are currently out of order due to a water leak, this might be fixed for tomorrow. The issues at the Westhumble Cabin have been resolved and will be open as usual for teas, coffees and, if you are lucky, a few bacon butties. A massive thank you to James Whitmarsh for sorting these issues out.
