Last Saturday was our annual Youth Tournament. U6 to U13 teams from across Surrey and South London came together to play and compete against each other. They put on a fantastic show with plenty of skill, technic, tactical awareness and physically & mental fortitude on show. With lots of fun and excitement thrown in.

Thank you to the many Senior players that attended, helping out with refereeing, beat the keeper, presentations, video recording or on stalls. I know many of the youngster were very excited to meet you all.

Every year there are a team of volunteers that organise and pull everything together. Alan Parker sorting sponsors and the programme. Gareth Thomas and his merry Men of Coal, too merry sometimes! And too many others to mention. But this years dogs with a bone were Steve Smith and Clive Hurley. Thank you Steve and Clive for all your hard work. Next years team have a very hard act to follow.

Finally, we would like to thank all the volunteers. The parents, carers, brothers, sisters, grandparents and friends who all stepped up. You lot! You all chipped in to make the day a success.
