League football returns for Dorkinian FC on Saturday, as both the 1s and 2s commence their seasons against Honourable Artillery Company and Old Meadonians III, respectively.

Alex Wills takes over from the outgoing Tony Pankhurst and will be player/manager of the 1st XI, whilst Matthew Morley and Joel Sanders take charge of the 2nd XI.

There's no change at 3rd XI, 4th XI and 6th XI, as Slade/Tanner, Briggs and Harper look to build on strong seasons last year.

Chris Bedford and Josh Hawkey have the unenviable task of stepping into the shoes of the Luke Bangs and Oli Goddard as the new captains of the 5th XI.

2017/18 is looking to be yet another exciting season for Dorkinian FC both on and off the pitch
